PNU leaders surrender

Part of the PNU, the party leadership is considering moving from the grand coalition. Led by Vice President and Deputy Secretary-General Jeremiah Kamau Jamlek Kioni have written the official party President Professor George Saitoti, asking him to convene a national conference of delegates within 21 days to discuss the move. They argue that their coalition partner takes them on a tour, referring to the current deadlock on the appointment of senior officials of President Mwai JusticeKibaki.
